“What would you do if when you okay so he said yes would go?” 155 x 177 cm Assemblage (February 2025)

“Who am I?" is a question that jumps around in my head as if my brain is a trampoline. "Im Sirah Haris" I answer doubtfully to this dauntig question, yet I see beauty in this struggle of exploring identities. I used the web, video games and fashion as a teen and as an adolescence to explore facets of myself. On one side I look back a year ago and cringe at who I was and what I posted, but on the other I reminice on that old me as a stepping-stone to finding me now. And who is even me? Who will I be? Am I me just 1 me? Hmmm...

Commissioned piece by the Luxembourgish Government for the SNJ Youth exhibition, open from February till june 2025.

“The bluetooth device is ready to pair” Installation with paintings (November 2025)

Online, in my locked bedroom, separated from the world around me, my teen-self explored the maze-like playground called identity. In me, my colourful digital freedom and my real life traditional rigid Bosnian surrounding try to connect as two contrasting cultures. In this room, explore how those two sides play with each other, through the lens of toys, decor and identity bearing maximalism. Somewhere between cunty kitsch and my grandmas Bosnian knits, thats where the bluetooth device is ready to pair.

Made during the “Ctrl+Z+Memory” residency by La Concierge at CAW in Luxembourg.

“INail” 110 x 77 cm Assemblage (June 2025)

This project stands as a monument to the escapism of the internet, specially when it comes to gender and self-expression. Through video games, forums, posts and rabbit holes, the internet can serve as a playground for identity.

Exhibited as part of my thesis project at Keilepand in Rotterdam
