At the core of my “PicMix” series, I play around and have fun exploring the sandboxes of digital imagery, photography, and collaging, and its traditional counterpart in the form of simple art materials and intuitive fun.This series explores the blurred boundary between “high art” and the disregarded and discarded, playful visuals of digital culture and childlike art. Through PicMix, I question why widely relatable and joyfully, yet traditionally unskilled or absurd forms of expression are often dismissed as lesser art.
