I am Sirah Haris, the online oracle who likes orcas. I am a maker and thinker, making characters, illustrations, comics, and essays, while thinking about our relationship to the natural and digital world.
My specialties lie in character design, fine fun art, editorial illustrations, creative writing and working in the educational field.
My passion lies in entertaining and sustaining you, me, and future aliens studying humans, all through my joyfully fresh-eyed perspective on what it means to be a human. Through my silly, cute, colorful and bizarre characters, I aim to explore profound human experiences and hope to create space to relate and fascinate.
As a human I am an overall enjoyer of far too long sentences and romanticizing the bitter-sweetness of human-being-ness. Through a spiritual digital lens, I dive into these rabbit holes of natural emotions and philosophies. No matter how silly, unserious, and otherworldly my work may seem, at the core I always explore and romanticize the double-edged sword of being a soul experiencing the earthly realm. Oh how bitter and sweet, oh how I love to be an earthly soul!
